    Lead Pastor

I am privileged to be in my 25th year of pastoral ministry. Presently I serve as Lead Pastor. My beautiful wife Becky and I are in our 30th year of marriage and the Lord has blessed us with two wonderful children Micah and Emily. As a reformed believer, I am ever about reforming to the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. While this is a daily effort, I am encouraged by the apostle Paul who wrote, "I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." (Philippians 1:6 ESV) Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

I was born in Memphis, Tennessee, near my home of Mount Pleasant, Mississippi. I am the eldest of four siblings and grew up in Marshall County, Mississippi, where seven generations of my family have lived. I graduated from Marshall Academy in 1996.

I earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible at Blue Mountain College in Blue Mountain, MS, in 2000. I earned the Master of Divinity degree from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2003, and the Doctor of Ministry degree in 2010.

I was called to ministry at the age of fifteen and shared my calling with my home church, First Baptist Church of Holly Springs, MS. I was ordained to ministry in July of 2006 at Bella Vista Community Church. I have served in various ministry settings, as youth director for 7th-12th grade students, chaplain resident at a university hospital, and minister to 7th and 8th grade students, before joining the staff of Bella Vista Community Church as a pastor in February of 2006. I enjoy walking outdoors, going to the movies, and traveling.

In John 13:34-35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” I believe that once we have experienced God’s love and forgiveness, we will share God’s love with other people. Understanding how God loves us and creating opportunities to share God’s love with people is important to me as a pastor. When we are sensitive to God’s leading in our lives, we will see that loving God and loving people can be a lifestyle. This is how others come to know Christ and become more like Christ.

    Family Pastor

I grew up in Marshall, Arkansas. I am the older of two boys.  I grew up going to church regularly, playing sports and working.  After high school, I attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN, where I earned my undergraduate degree in pastoral ministries.  After Lee University, I continued my education at John Brown University where I earned a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and Community Counseling.  I met my wonderful wife, Karissa, while we were attending graduate school at John Brown.  After graduating from John Brown, I went through a year-long internship at Fellowship Bible Church, working primarily with young professionals.  I have a heart for God and making disciples for Christ.

    Children's Ministry Director

The Lord has been leading me down an unconventional path for years and I couldn't be more excited to be calling Northwest Arkansas home again! When I moved to Bentonville in 9th grade, God radically changed my heart and life through an amazing group of girls that helped teach me to place my whole hope in Jesus. In high school, He called me to ministry and in college answered my prayer heartily to "break my heart for the things You break for."  Since then I have gotten to live a lot of places and have been asked to love on dance students, youth groups, businessmen, Korean kids, and most recently, teens who have struggled with addictions.

I studied at Ouachita Baptist University and majored in Christian Studies Missions with a minor in Sociology. I am also a certified teacher in English as a Second Language, Elementary Education, and Middle School Social Science. I spent 7.5 years teaching middle school English in Seoul, South Korea and before that worked in the financial world. I enjoy singing (especially in Asian karaoke rooms), traveling, dancing, making super cheesy jokes, experiencing new cultures, hanging out with my cute puppy, Ara, and investing in the lives of young people!

    Contemporary Worship Leader

I was born and raised in Rogers, Arkansas, and have been living in Northwest Arkansas my whole life. Since I started in 9th grade at my home church, I have been leading worship in many churches. My goal is to be a tool to help people have a more intimate and exciting time in God’s presence. This is why I strive for musical excellence in everything I do. I am a senior Music Voice Performance major at the University of Arkansas. As well as singing I play guitar, bass, ukulele, drums and piano, but I also play some others. I believe that God wants us to worship him whether we are musicians or not, but also to do our absolute best as a true offering of worship. My favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:38-39, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
